Terms Of Service (TOS)

By commissioning me, you agree to all the terms and conditions outlined below.

GENERAL INFORMATION & WORKFLOW

  • GOOGLE FORM FILL IN: The form must be sent before starting the commission

(ONLY FOR COMMISSIONS OUT OF KO-FI)

  • PAYMENT TERMS: 50/50 Payment Method. 50% upfront payment is required before starting the sketch, and the remaining 50% must be paid after the final drawing is approved (it’ll have a watermark until the payment is delivered).

  • SKETCH APPROVAL: The artwork will not proceed beyond the draft stage until the client gives full approval of the initial sketch.

  • TURNAROUN TIME: Estimated delivery time is 1 to 3 weeks starting from the date of the first payment, depending on complexity, queue position, and personal schedule.

REVISION POLICY

Revisions are structured based on the selected finishing style to ensure quality and prevent rework at late stages:

  • Profile Icons & Emotes ($10 USD): 1 Revision included (focused on initial pose/composition).

  • Character Design Sheet ($30 USD): 2 Revisions included (1st for pose/composition, 2nd for color scheme).

  • Cinematic / Dramatic Scene ($40 USD): 3 Revisions included (1st for pose, 2nd for colors, 3rd for minor details/lighting tweaks).

Note: Any major changes requested after a stage has been approved (e.g., changing the entire pose during the rendering stage) or extra revisions beyond the limit will incur an additional fee ($5 USD).

CANCELATIONS & REFUNDS

  • Refund Policy: Due to the nature of digital products and time invested, no refunds will be issued once the initial sketch has been approved and work on the piece has begun.

  • If the artist is unable to complete the commission due to emergency or personal reasons, a full refund (or partial, depending on completed progress) will be provided.

COPYRIGHT, USAGE & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • Personal Use Only: All commissions are for non-commercial personal use only (e.g., social media profile pictures, wallpapers, printing for personal display).

  • Commercial Use: Commercial rights (merchandise, VTuber assets, promotional material, streaming graphics) require an additional commercial fee (usually +100% of the base price) and must be discussed prior to payment.

  • Artist Rights: The artist (Doodling Alex) retains all copyright and ownership of the artwork. The artist reserves the right to post the final piece on social media, portfolios, and art books.

  • Privacy Option: If you prefer the commission to remain private (not posted on social media), a confidentiality fee (+20% of total price) will apply.

  • AI & NFT Prohibition: Strict ban on feeding the commissioned artwork into Artificial Intelligence (AI) generators, image models, or converting/minting it into NFTs/cryptocurrency projects.

PAYMENT METHODS

  • International: PayPal Business, Stripe (processed via Ko-fi).

  • Mexico (National): Direct Bank Transfer (SPEI in MXN). USD to MXN exchange rate agreed upon via DM at the time of invoice.

  • Ultra-Detailed or Complex Backgrounds

  • Copying Other Artists' Styles (Art Theft)

  • Text-Only Character Descriptions (Clear visual references required)
